Nurses have always been impressive frontline responders in hospitals and clinics around the world. The pandemic has further revealed their dedication and skill, as we grew to rely on them to fight COVID-19—and to keep everything else running despite it. Without our intelligent, compassionate, and brave nurses, each illness or injury would spell disaster.
Denise is one of these impressive nurses, giving 45 years of her life in nursing service. As a registered nurse and diabetic educator, Denise helped countless patients and colleagues with her compassion and expertise.
For her 2021 retirement, family and coworkers combined efforts on a group retirement card to honor her work as a nurse.
