Happy birthday board with messages and images

Group eCards

Group eCards are electronic greeting cards signed by a group of people. Group eCards are used for many occasions, including for personal and professional use. Groups use eCards for occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, sympathy, retirement, new baby, holidays, etc. Additionally, businesses often use eCards for employee appreciation, work anniversaries, retirement, birthdays, and welcome cards.

What are Group eCards?

Group eCards are great for many reasons. Virtual group cards are perfect for any occasion and can be used for personal and business use. Additionally, eCards save time and money by eliminating the need for stamps, and buying a paper card. Furthermore, group eCards are easy and fun to personalize. Paper cards signed by a group are often dull and include the same messages (often short because people run out of room). While the thought behind paper cards is nice, the personalization of a group card makes the card more thoughtful. Contributors to the group card can also write more and include media such as GIFs, photos, text, and video. Group eCards are also environmentally friendly because there is no paper involved (unless you choose to print it as a book or poster), and they last forever. The recipient of the eCard can view it as many times as they would like. Also, group eCards are awesome because they are easy for anyone to contribute to. Group eCard creators can invite anyone to add to the card, and with Kudoboard, the contributors don’t have to sign up for anything to add to the card. Finally, virtual group cards with Kudoboard allows for contributors to add to a gift card fund for the recipient, making the perfect easy and thoughtful gift for any occasion.

How to Create Group eCards

Creating a group eCard is simple. To start, go to Kudoboard and click “create a Kudobaord.”

From there, you will fill out the following prompts:

  • Select the occasion
  • Recipient’s name
  • Title of Kudoboard (example: “Happy Birthday Julia!”)

Next, you will be asked to choose your board type. If multiple people are contributing to the card, you will choose “multi post.” Kudoobard also offers a cool feature that allows people to contribute to a gift card for the recipient, perfect for birthdays and other occasions. This is especially great for occasions such as weddings and graduations, where the recipient may need more money to start a new chapter in their life.

The next step is to choose which type of board you need. The board type is dependent on how many contributors the group eCard will have. A premium board is $5.99 and allows for 100 people to contribute. This is great for large groups, or if people want to add more than one post (they can add multiple photos, text, and other media). If you have a small amount of people contributing, a mini board is free. Mini boards allow for up to 10 contributors.

Finally, you can start creating your eCard. Kudoboard has many options for personalization such as changing the background and font. Before you invite people to contribute, make sure to add your own post as an example so contributors know what to do and if it’s okay to post. To add contributors, simply click “add contributors” at the top of the board. You can share the eCard 4 different ways, via QR code, email, social media, or direct link. Contributors DO NOT have to sign up for kudoboard to add to the eCard.
