If you are in Recruiting, you likely spend a tremendous amount of time sourcing candidates, encouraging them to apply, and tracking them through their interview process. Whether you still use basic google spreadsheets or more advanced recruiting software like TalentLyft, there’s a lot to cover.
And the work isn’t done once an applicant signs on. You still need to onboard them and make sure they got off to a great start. This also means keeping your company culture intact by ensuring the new team member fits in well and feels welcome.
Fortunately, Kudoboard has you covered. Nothing says welcome aboard like a bunch of dancing, clapping GIFs. And those are exactly the kinds of welcome to the team messages that Joe D. received when he joined Curriculum Associates a few months back.
As People Ops Team member Ashlee stated, “Welcome to the big crazy family!”

How To Create Your Own Welcome Group Card
Do you need a fun and easy way to welcome someone new to your team? It is really easy welcome new team members with a group cardcard. Simply find a digital card site, enter in the required information (your email, the name of the recipient, etc.). Once you have entered in all the information you can get started on your group card! With Kudoboard, you can customize the background, fonts, make it themed or not themed, whatever you want!
To make the group card extra special, make sure you invite others to contribute to the virtual welcome card! This will help the new team member feel welcomed by everyone on the team, not just the management. To invite people to contribute to the group card, simply add their emails (no, they don’t have to sign up for anything to contribute) and hit send. Remind them to have it done by a certain time so the recipient will get the card in a timely manner. Having everyone involved helps new team members feel like part of the team right away.

Group cards are a great alternative to paper cards, here are 3 reasons why:
