Kudoboard is an online replacement for the greeting card that’s passed around and signed. It’s perfect for colleagues, family, or friends to create on birthdays, holidays, and other special occasions.
Creating a Kudoboard is simple. Add the recipient’s name, their email address, and a title for the board, and you’re ready to get started.
From there, you go ahead and select from a variety of backgrounds.
Once you’ve found a background you like, you can begin adding content to the board. You can add videos – either from YouTube or your own device – or you can add pictures. Let’s take a look at the GIF library, integrated with GIPHY; Kudoboard’s picture library, with a variety of different events available; or you can always add your own image from your device.
We’ll go ahead and add a caption, post the kudo, and there it is on the board. We can obviously edit our text to make changes or even delete the kudo if we want to.
Once we’ve added all the kudos we want, we can go ahead and schedule the board for delivery. We can deliver it right now, or we can schedule it later and invite other people to contribute. We can always change this date down the road, but this is a good place to start.
Once we’ve set a tentative delivery date, we’ll go ahead and begin inviting other folks. Here we’ve got a few quick tips to make sure others contribute, and now we can go ahead and begin inviting.
We can use Kudoboard’s automated email service, we can invite contributors through Facebook, or we can simply copy and paste the link to the board and send it in a message of our choosing.
Once others are invited, we’ll start seeing the kudos rolling in. There will be pictures, videos, and GIFs, and as the creator, you have the ability to move content around – placing it where you want it – or even delete kudos if you don’t want them on the board.
All of this is entirely mobile and tablet friendly, so you and your contributors can interact with Kudobaord in the way that’s most convenient.
Once the board is complete, you can deliver it to the recipient. They have the ability to share it on various forms of social media.
